Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 17, 2026

Glanceway is a macOS menu bar application that displays information from configurable sources. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Information We Collect

Glanceway is designed with privacy in mind. The app operates primarily on your device. Your selected sources and their settings are stored locally. Any API tokens or secrets you provide are stored securely in the macOS Keychain and are never transmitted to our servers. Information fetched by your sources is processed and stored locally on your device.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as app version and macOS version) to help improve the app. This data does not include any personal information or source content.

Data Storage

All your data — including source configurations, fetched content, and preferences — is stored locally on your Mac. API secrets are stored in the macOS Keychain. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Third-Party Services

Sources you install may connect to third-party APIs and services. These connections are initiated by your device based on your source configurations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. Please review their respective privacy policies.

App Store Subscriptions

If you subscribe to Glanceway Pro, your subscription is managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
